I wish I could spill what is going on at work on here. I'm so frustrated and apathetic. It's not like me at all and I don't like it. I have to keep reminding myself this is motivation to get my rear in gear and find something to do with my life that will bring me good feelings, not negative ones.
I'm also having severe colon pain again (topped with a good dose of womanly cramps - TMI - sorry). Good thing the colonoscopy is on Friday. I'm hoping they find the cause and that it is not super-serious. I have my doubts as this whole ordeal has been one wasted effort after another. I was reading the stuff they sent me earlier today. Not looking forward to this process at all.
OK, that I said, I'm going to pop a pain pill and head to bed.

Mr. T wanted so badly to chase the deer across the street. Sadly, we were packing the car to head back to Homestead South, so I couldn't oblige him.

I tend to avoid burgers because they're not good for you, but I make an exception for the Bunkhouse Burger served at the
Colonial House Restaurant in Rapid City, SD. Two bison patties! Yummy!

Dang them for being so fast and not being visible in my photo, but Mr. T was trying to chase some deer in Keystone early this afternoon when we walked down to get the mail. He gets frustrated that he's always tethered to a human.

I really don't get what is up with the road crews in a certain portion of Wyoming. They make traveling through there in the winter a pain in the butt.
It's always that stretch starting at Lusk and going North to the rest area at Mule Creek Junction and then the 10 miles over to the WY/SD state line. It's like whatever county is supposed to be maintaining that doesn't care or something. I know it's not entirely the weather's fault as the road is perfectly clear the moment you cross over into South Dakota. I seriously doubt the storm was that bad on one side of the state line and not bad on the other.
The roads were great the whole rest of the trip. In fact, I could even keep a good 75 mph on I-25 most of the time (there are always some icky, icy spots around Chugwater and Wheatland due to wind blowing across the highway). No, from Lusk to the state line - icy and snowpacked and parts where you can't even see the road.
If someone know why this is, I'd really like to know.
