Project 365 #13 - New Heated Mattress Pad

OK, since it gets a little chilly in these parts and hopefully I'll be living up here soon, I splurged and bought a dual-control heated mattress pad at Bed, Bath and Beyond for the bed up here at Homestead North. I get cold easily and Marcus doesn't, so it needed the dual controls. Just got it set up and turned on. Hopefully this, combined with my awesome flannel sheets and fake sheepskin comforter, will keep me toasty warm at night so that I can sleep without wasting too danged much propane.

Project 365 #12 - Morning Cold Drive

BRRRR! Little bit chilly around these parts for a November morning. We're fully engulfed in the "Polar Vortex," as the news stations like to call it.

Man, I really need to dust my dashboard - that's disgusting. smile

Project 365 #11 - Extra Crafty

Look at the really neat print I bought from The Dreamy Giraffe over on Etsy. I can't wait to make a really crafty frame for it. I feel really bad for this artist as she's dealing with a bunch of scumbags stealing her art and passing it off as their own (a big problem for all creatives especially with the mentality that anything on the internet is free to use).

Project 365 #10 - Cold Night

When I went to work this morning, the temp was around 65°F - by the time I got home and took the dog out for his walk, it was 16°F, according to the display on the hotel across the highway. Mr. T probably didn't need it, but I broke out his coat.

Project 365 #9 - Cornered Rabbit

Marcus was walking Mr. T around the parking lot at the Bed, Bath & Beyond on Chambers/Parker while I went inside to get a heated mattress pad for Homestead North. When I came out, I heard the most horrible dog screeching and knew it was Mr. T. I got over to where they were and they had a rabbit cornered in a drainage thing. It's hard to tell, but that's a bunny behind all those leaves.
