Project 365 #4 - Stupid Light Rail Construction

The light rail construction project on I-225 is happening right outside my kitchen window. Tonight the lights are aimed right at us. The on-ramp to Northbound 225 from Parker Rd is closed all week, so traffic has been a bear around here.

Project 365 - Reboot Day 1-3

I think I've had "Complete Project 365" as one of the goals on my 101 in 1001 project since I first set it up over 8 years ago. I've also had a goal to fix DomesticGeek since an ExpressionEngine install that went awry (and subsequent server change that broke even more stuff) and get back to blogging on a regular basis. I used to chronicle everything on the old blog and once I got onto Facebook, that pretty much stopped. Someday Facebook could go away and I will have absolutely no record of the life I've lived. Well, I've been itching to get this thing workable again and really feeling the need to accomplish something in my life, so here we go! BTW, if my comments are still broken, I apologize. It's on my list of stuff I need to look at. I'm guessing that since I haven't had spam comments in forever, it probably is broken.

#1 - August 1, 2014 - New markers make this artsy gal extremely happy. I was bummed that they hadn't shown up when I got home from work, but the danged FedEx guy threw them up on the balcony instead of leaving them by the front door like the guy that delivered Marcus' stuff yesterday did. Then I was even more bummed when I went onto Amazon and saw the price had dropped $4 since I ordered them. Grrr! Oh, well...

#2 - August 2, 2014 - Yesterday I was sitting on the patio (at the condo Marcus bought in Aurora in March that was dubbed Homestead South) enjoying some time relaxing and knitting with Mr. T. That dog loves to sunbathe, so I always put his "Princess Pillow" in the sun so he can be comfy.

#3 - August 3, 2014 - It finally cooled off enough this evening that Marcus & I took Mr. T to the Jewell Wetlands for a walk. He got to chase plenty of bunnies.
