Yep, I've got a UTI and now I'm on 5 days of meds. In a few days, I'll have a yeast infection, too...guaranteed.

So, Friday afternoon I felt it - that weird twinge preceding a urinary tract infection. Sometimes overloading on cranberry keeps it at bay. Not this time - off to the clinic in the morning.

P.S. I really hate the taste of cranberry juice.

P.S.S. Sometimes I really hate being a girl.

Apparently, we have a GISHWHES (GREATEST INTERNATIONAL SCAVENGER HUNT THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN) participant in the area. Saw this on the sidewalk while out walking with Mr. T earlier this evening.

I somehow missed all the chatter about this the last couple of years, but this year William Shatner was posting about participating on Twitter.

Apparently, chewing on a bully stick is extremely hard and exhausting work, as evidenced by Mr. T this evening. Poor guy!

I've been really getting into metaphysical crystals and stones lately. A few weeks ago I got myself a selenite pendant (it's supposed to aid in sleep and dispel negativity). I've been reading a lot about Moldavite. Unfortunately, they're danged expensive. I found one for sale on etsy this last weekend for a relatively reasonable price from a place in Nederland and it arrived today, as well as a 9 Planets bracelet that I ordered from MariaShaw.com. I can't wait to work with them and see what comes.

Neptune -Fluorite - healing on all levels, dreaming, perception.
