I just got this photo from one of my co-workers that he took a couple of weeks ago. Aren't you jealous of my work environment?

I'm all for any software that allows you to free yourself from the evil giant, Microsoft. Another co-worker pointed me to Flip4Mac WMV, a component that allows .wmv files to be played through Quicktime.

I hate my pizza job. I want to quit. Bad. I should be there now, but I don't want to go. So, I was sitting here doing a search for some freelance work I might be able to do on the side to replace the pizza income (now that I have procured a full time job) and I found this ad for an Apple Retail Creative on craigslist. Look at where the location is. Flatiron Crossing.

Yes, there is going to be another Colorado Apple Store, this time in Broomfield. Excellent. I was doing a bunch of searches trying to find the opening date. No luck. You can be assured that Marcus and Mike (and me) will attend the Grand Opening. I have to have another t-shirt for my collection. I already have the Aspen Grove and Cherry Creek ones. I assume that since they are hiring for all positions on the Apple Jobs site, it can't be too far off in the future!

BTW, I really want one of the new iPod Nanos (preferably one of the 4GB black ones). I'm sure I'll have to make myself wait awhile, though, as I really need to get some other things to get the business going. Maybe by Christmas or maybe when the storage is bigger.

Oh, and today's Joy of Tech was about the demise of the iPod mini. Go check it out—totally cracked me up!

I went to the Apple OS X Tiger Premier and all I got was this lousy scratch ticket!

Just kidding...I've got no problem winning a free iTunes song. I purchased Woo Hoo by the 5678s. It would've been better if I had been one of the iPod or Powerbook winners. *sigh* I was hoping for something tangible like a t-shirt or even the dog tags we got at the Panther premiere. Oh, well.
