Project 365 #1 - Wetlands Walk & NaBloPoMo 2014

Wow, not a whole lot of posts in the last year and big surprise that I didn't finish NaBloPoMo in 2013. I'm really finding it hard to write here like I used to. I was doing well on my latest Project365 attempt, and then it went into the toilet. I'm going to attempt that one final time beginning today and if I fail, I give up. Since today is November 1st, might as well try to complete National Blog Posting Month, as well.

Lots of bad stuff and good stuff happening lately. I'm going to get that chronicled here this month. I'm really having a gut feeling that something big is going to change. I don't know what (I have hopes), but it's just a really unsettled feeling.

Today I had the first relaxing day since my dept. supervisor walked off the job on Sept. 23rd (more about that later this month). I actually go to take a walk in the Jewell Wetlands with Marcus & T (sorry, he hiked to pee just as I took the picture - it's the only picture I had from today smile ).

Project 365 #31 - Morning Deer Visit

My kidney pain had me up early, so I spent some time out on our front deck enjoying nature. This trio of deer paid us a visit. I also got to watch the chipmunks frolicking.

Project 365 #30 - Weird Antennae Bug

This strange bug was on our front deck this afternoon. I tried Googling, and I think it's somekind of longhorn beetle, but since my picture isn't great, I'm not sure. It does have really cool antennae, though.

Project 365 #28 - Antiobiotics Round 2

The Walgreens on Peoria/Mississippi is the absolute worst! I got there a little before 11 last night and turned in my prescription. After 11, I guess the pharmacist is the only guy working and he is the slowest worker EVER! Also, he kept stopping what he was doing to help the drive up. I'm sorry, close that damn thing if you're the only one there and make people come inside. Two (2) freaking hours for him to fill one stupid pill bottle. Since I didn't actually have these in my possession until very early this morning, this is today's 365 photo.
