"
Helen, Sweetheart of the Internet" is becoming one of my favorite cartoons. That's one good thing about going to CollegeAmerica. I actually understand the geek humor creeping into the comics. Foxtrot has a lot of it that I just used to ignore because I didn't get it.

Current mood:
exhausted
Obviously, I didn't get up early. Damn. Last night about 11 p.m., Marcus woke me up ranting about cleaning up Skippy puke. Had the poor dog scared to death. No wonder he was trying to hide it. So, here I was cleaning up puke and lecturing Marcus about making the dog feel bad for something beyond his control. Marcus doesn't get sick much and doesn't understand what it's like to throw up, etc. Seems like we had this same conversation when Ursa had diarrhea not too long ago.
So, here I am. I overslept and am now procrastinating about going to work. I also needed to go to WalMart and had planned on being there when they opened at 7:30. Oh, well.

Current mood:
lonely
It's Friday night and I'm all alone. *Sob* Ha, just kidding about the crying part. Anyway, Marcus stayed late at work cataloging software and then he's going to CompUsa with our friend Dave. I guess Dave got some unpleasant news in an email once and he took it out on his poor monitor and now it doesn't work anymore. They always say to never shoot the messenger.
I didn't win any of the computers they were giving away on TechTv. Damn it. I never win anything.
Marcus wants to go see "Ice Age" tomorrow. That could be cool.
Skippy is so afraid of getting in trouble for puking that he's trying to hide it. I just found some puke in the corner of the bedroom. It's a pain to clean up when it up against the baseboard. I wish he'd learn to use the toilet like everyone else. Ha! Seriously, I wish he'd puke on the tile out in the open instead of in some corner on the carpet. Poor little guy. See, I don't need human kids, I have furry ones.
Ok, well, I'm going to watch "The Tribe" episode that I taped and then I'm off to bed. I really want to get in early to work tomorrow. I've got a lot of stuff to do around the house after Marcus and I go the the movies. I'm going to have to steam the carpets since now there are little tiny "clean" patches where I cleaned up the puppy puke. Oh, well, it needed to be done anyway.

1. What's your favorite animal?
Wolves.
2. What pets have you had in your lifetime?
I've had many: dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, fish, hermit crabs, rabbits, frogs and snails. We even had a cat when I was really young. I've always lived with a menagerie.
3. Is there any specific pet that you've wanted but never had? Why?
I've always wanted a horse and a llama. I've never had them because I don't have the money or the room to keep them. Someday, though.
4. Are you allergic to any animals?
I'm severely allergic to cats.
5. Do you have any 'pet' pet peeves (your pets or others')?
As far as my dogs go, I hate it when they lay down right behind you in the kitchen when you're cooking and then you fall over them. I also hate it when they can't decide if they want to be in or out. As for others' pets, I hate yippy ankle-biter dogs. I also hate people who get dogs just for the sake of having a dog and then leave them tied up all day in any kind of weather.
