Current mood:
sick
Man, long day. I felt like crap last night, so I pumped up on Vitamin C and went to bed early. I sweated alot of it out last night and woke up all tangled up in the sheets. I hate that. That's one of the bad things about having a waterbed with an attached top sheet. They don't stay tucked in. I still didn't feel too well this morning, but I went to work anyway because I didn't think I'd have that much to do. I'm wishing I hadn't--they just made me angry. Of course, they finally got busy at both stores and I had to do more dough than I planned, then one of the stores used WAAAY more vegetables than they were supposed to and I had to prep more of those, then I found out one of the dumbass managers sold yeast to another store and now we don't have enough for tomorrow. Yay. The stupidity never ends.
I was feeling better this afternoon. We even went to Woody's Wings 'n' Things in Aurora for lunch with our friends Mike & Nina. I hadn't realized that I hadn't been there in a couple of years. There is a location up in Northglenn that I could go to, I just never remember it is up there. Unfortunatley, since it's bedtime, I'm starting to feel crappy again. I've got to remeber to set the clocks back before I turn in.
Speaking of that, I heard on Paul Harvey's "The Rest of the Story" today that this daylight savings time nonsense can originally be attributed to Ben Franklin. I'm sure it had its place at one time, but I think it is really stupid now. I wish they would abandon the whole thing.
