The Denver Broncos (4-3) beat the New England Patriots (3-4) 31-20 yesterday. Since we were celebrating our anniversary and doing "us" stuff all day, I didn't even look to see if I could get the game on TV. Yay, I'm glad they won, though.
Some disturbing news, Echostar (Dish Network) acquired Hughes (DirectTv) yesterday. Talk about a monopoly. I know some government agency is going to have something to say about that. I just hope that doesn't drive the price of our satellite service up. Speaking of satellie, Marcus is closer to just getting satellie internet access. I wish it didn't have the $600 price tag. We're going to need to get a windows box from somewhere to act as a proxy since you can't use it with anything Apple. How stupid is that?
We're trying to get the dogs shaved since it's bath time for them again. I need to get the carpets cleaned before winter sets in and there is no point when the dogs are filthy. Since it looks like we're going to be staying here (for awhile, at least), we need to get some grass in. I'm tired of the dogs bringing in goat's head burrs and cleaning the mud off their feet when it rains/snows is a pain.
