Domestic Geek

I'm into the third day of antibiotics. I can tell they're starting to work. Once in a while I can actually swallow with little pain. Most of the time there is stinging pain in my tonsils where the fight is going on between the bacteria and the drugs. I keep trying to rest, but the puss coming out of my tonsils makes me snore so loud that I wake myself up. The worst part is that I'm starving. I haven't eaten a thing since Tuesday morning. All I've been able to get down my throat since is hot tea. I'm sure that once the swelling in my tongue goes down, I'll be able to choke down some soup.
