Mike and Nina came over this evening. I made taco pizza for dinner, then Mike and Marcus played Diablo while Nina and I watched "
Kate and Leopold" and "
Memento". Memento was too weird. It made my head hurt to watch it. It was a really good story, though.

Have I ever mentioned that I absolutely LOVE "The Dead Zone" on the USA Network?
Tonight's episode was absolutely awesome!

Mike and Nina took Marcus and I to see "Shanghai Knights." The experience reminded Marcus and I why we don't go to movie theaters. Why didn't the asshole parents take the jabbering, kicking kids to go see "Jungle Book 2" like they wanted instead of a movie that was just a little too mature for kids under five? Good flick, though.

Damn, I should've known better. They didn't kill off Theresa Lopez Fitzgerald on "Passions" afterall. It figures that was too good to be true.

I forgot to mention that I signed up for
Netflix the other night. $19.95 per month for unlimited DVD rentals is not too shabby. I got my first three movies in the mail today. Neat, huh?

They actually put Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald to death on "Passions" today. Good, she totally got on my nerves. I thought Julian would show up in the nick of time to stop it. I'm glad I was wrong. I'm not too hip on the new Ethan yet.
I watched "Not Another Teen Movie" on Pay Per View last week. Chyler Leigh, the main character, looked like the girl that played Tuesday on "That 80's Show." While doing a search on the old internet to see if it was indeed the same person, I find that "That 80's Show" was cancelled. Damn Fox, anyway. I was really beginning to like that show. CBS has also appeared to have dropped "Baby Bob." One site says that it will return mid-season, but I'll believe it when I see it. Bob will be a whole year older by then and it probably won't be as funny. NBC dropped "Watching Ellie," another show I really enjoyed. But they can keep that stupid "Scrubs" show on the air practically every night of the week. I'm not happy about this. Oh, well, if I can't find anything decent on TV, I might actually get other stuff done.
Of course, the one good thing is that Dr. Phil (from Oprah) is getting his own show. I'm glad I have a PVR.

I have several weeks worth of Survivor Marquesas episodes on my Dish PVR, including the final episode that aired Sunday. I tried to watch them yesterday, really, I did. Sadly, I couldn't really care less about this group of people. How weird is that? I watched the first three religiously and tried to watch this series, but, alas, I didn't keep up, I already found out on my iWon homepage who won, and these episodes will probably go by way of the delete button.
