That Was It?

Current mood: bearmood — sad disappointed
Just got home from going to see The Matrix Revolutions. I'm feeling really disappointed and let down. The third and final should've/could've been a lot more than it was. Certainly wasn't worth the serveral months of waiting. Oh, well.

Revolutions is Coming

So, Matrix Revolutions will be released in less than two weeks. I can't wait. I put a countdown over in the sidebar. I've been interested in the Matrix ARG that's been going on. I found out about it on the Matrix Essays site. It's pretty cool. One of the forums I've really been watching pertaining to this game can be found here. The people who come up with this are either waaaay gifted or have waaaay too much time on their hands (or both). I don't have time to try to solve any of the game, but it sure is interesting reading about what others have come up with.

Well, I'm off to bed. I have that final exam and the art show tomorrow. G'night.

A Tad Disappointed

Current mood: bearmood ? tired lazy
WARNING: movie spoiler follows:
I watched the DVD of Chicago last night. I really enjoyed the musical numbers (then again, I usually love musicals). It was an interesting story, but I was a little disappointed in the outcome. Whoever wrote the story must've been a man-hater. It more-or-less glorified/condoned women murdering husbands and/or lovers. What was up with that? Then the main characters get off scott-free and get fame/wealth as a result of their murdering ways. Not cool. At least after seeing this, I understand what the writers on the NBC soap Passions were trying to do with these retarded musical numbers they were doing a while back.

The manager at work actually gave me four driving shifts this next week. I was totally shocked. I only got two last week and one of them he decided he didn't need me and sent me home. The same thing happened the previous week. Maybe I'll actually make more than $30 next week. Yay!!

Marcus took an Apple OS X Administration class last week that was paid for by the place where he works. He even got paid (with vacation hours). Now he's all excited about the stuff he learned and I haven't had much interaction with him lately. He's been glued to his Macs. Yay! I'm so glad he's excited about this. He and Mike have also gotten the new Tiger Woods golf game that has had them preoccupied for the last couple of weeks. Marcus needs to get a new video card to handle it, though. It keeps crashing his Mac. I need a new video card, too. And more memory. And a video camera. And a really good digital camera. Ooh, and a G5. BTW, when am I going to win the lottery?

So, since he's otherwise engaged and I have ABSOLUTELY NO HOMEWORK for the first time in ages (and probably the last time for at least the next ten weeks), I'm going to lounge and the couch and watch Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. I'll probably cross stitch a little while I do. Then maybe I'll get busy and clean up around here. Maybe not.

About Damn Time

Current mood: bearmood tired lethargic
I finally finished watching Stephen King's "The Stand" this morning. I received it from Netflix on September 5th of LAST YEAR! Good thing Netflix doesn't have late fees, huh? Between moving, misplacing it and the fact that it is an extreeeeemely long movie had a lot to do with how long it took.

Man, I really need to put a design on this site. It's so dang drab. Too bad I have to leave for work.
