Sorry about the lack of posting lately. I'm still alive, barely. I've got the worst cough that I can't shake. I'm not getting enough sleep. I'm ready to kill everybody I work with since I have absolutely no patience when I'm sick and tired. I'm not sure when I'll be posting regularly again. I'm just not up to it right now. Send "get well" thoughts my way so it will be sooner than later.

I'm so exhausted and I don't know why. I ended up sleeping from 4 p.m. yesterday to 6:30 a.m. this morning. I was awake for about an hour from 9 - 10 p.m. Marcus made me some ramen to eat. I was dragging so bad at work I never thought I'd finish. As soon as I post, I'm going back to bed.
I hate the keyboard on this iMac. Now I remember why I bought Marcus the pro keyboard for his birthday the year he got this thing. Of course, my cordless Logitech keyboard won't work with it since iMacs only support USB keyboards. Damn.
My friend, Mike, gave me the Sims to play on this. I hope I don't get addicted. I've totally lost Marcus for awhile. He's so busy with his new G4 that I'm lucky if I can get a word in.
Well, there was one bit of good news at work today. The one asst. manager I totally can't stand got fired today. Yippee!
I have to get dough done at one of the stores BEFORE 6 a.m. (the ceiling tiles are being cleaned), so off to bed.

I spent yesterday hanging with my dad. He took me to lunch, I showed him how to do some stuff on his computer, we hung a really cool painting that his father painted in 1913 or 1918 (something like that) in his living room, I pestered his cat, and his cat made me have an allergy attack. Dad cracks me up. He's says, "So, when are you going to change your blog design? I'm tired of looking at St. Patrick's Day." LOL I'm still working on my Movabletype design, so hopefully by the end of the weekend it will be up.
The stupid owner didn't bother to tell me that a big ad was hitting this week. I guess I picked a really bad day to blow off making dough at the one store yesterday. I was so pissed at the condition that the store was in and the pathetically low amount of dough I was supposed to do that I just decided to leave to spend more time with dad and I'd make it up today. So they'll be using day old dough on a Friday. Right now, I don't think I could care less. It did make for a long day today, though. I'm pooped.
Marcus' G4 came today! In about an hour, there's going to be an iMac sitting on my desk. WhooHoo!
Well, I'm going to go watch some Survivor, CSI, and WWF Tough Enough 2.

I love finding new scrapbooking stores . . . usually. I found one today that I wish I hadn't. It was awful. First, there was absolutely no parking out front. When I went inside, things were a mess and haphazardly strewn about. Nothing was categorized in any sort of order. The space was tiny and cramped. There was no clear division between the cropping area and the sales floor. The selection totally sucked. The owner was in the back hallway yelling at someone on the phone. There were all these little water fountains, fish bowls, even a bowl with a huge frog in it (too small for the poor frog, I might add), setting about. I was afraid of knocking them over. If the owner was trying to achieve some sort of feng shui, it wasn't working. After she gets off the phone, she informs me that there is a "bargain basement." It was literally a musty, smelly basement at the foot of the crickety old stairs. All the sale stuff was just thrown in boxes on the floor and some kids' artwork was hanging by threads all over the place. It was soooooo icky and creepy. So, I did grab a couple of things and went to pay -- no cash register. She writes out receipts by hand and adds them up on an adding machine with no tape in it. Things were so cramped that even she was knocking stuff down. It was so totally unprofessional. I don't know how long she's been in business, but I doubt very much that she'll still be open a year from now.

Email I received last night from my boss:
"I talked to Schwab today, and your account is open. I've got the number to give you when I see ya. We'll get some money in there now. Sorry for the delay."
Well, I saw him today and he didn't have the account number. See what I'm dealing with?
