I've written before about how I'd benefit from being able to relax and I feel I need to learn to meditate. I ran across a Self Help Book I'd like to get called Simone and Elvis: Why Act Like a Mouse When You're Really a Cat?

This beautifully illustrated book of fables and inspirational quotations ... where the reader will understand in a fun, entertaining and insightful way, how the mind often puts us in a negative space and how we can recognize that within us.

The site also features some free flash videos designed to help you relax. I tried those last night and I actually had the first good night's sleep I've had in awhile.

Fall is in the air, the days are getting shorter, the new season of television programs are starting. This could mean only one thing—it's time to pull out the halloween decorations! I love Halloween more than any other holiday, including Christmas. I was so happy when manufacturers started creating cool outdoor decorations. While not as large as the Christmas collection, I have several boxes of Halloween things. I'm always looking for unique items to add to my spooky stash. I have to have this Ghost Tree Face. It glows in the dark and fastens to either side of an object to make the ghost appear to be moving through the object. How clever! There's another awesome decoration that you hang on a tree and it seems like a Witch's Face is emerging from it. That site has a lot of cute things I'd like to have.

My beloved Denver Broncos are taking on the Kansas City Chiefs today at 2:15 pm MDT. I hope they don't suffer another embarrassing loss like the one last week to the St. Louis Rams. I miss the days of John Elway and our Superbowl runs. While I have one of the blue Elways jerseys, I never did own an orange one—a fact that I regret. I never bought myself an Ed McCaffrey jersey, either. Darn it!

There's a site that sells throwback jerseys where I can acquire an orange John Elway jersey. As my Broncos wardrobe has been seriously lacking (I only own one shirt), I found many shirts I would like in their Denver Bronco Fan Shop.

Since they also sell authentic replica NFL Football Jerseys, football hats and other various types of merchandise for all the current teams, there's bound to be something for any football fanatic on your holiday shopping list.

I've had my stuff in various storage places ever since I was in college back in the late 80s. Even though Marcus and I are in the process of moving all of our crap out of our current storage unit, there will come a time in the future (when we finally get our house moved onto land) that we will need one again.

There's a great online Self Storage Directory - Moving.bz that has an extensive list of storage facilities all over the United States. I like the feature where you can get online quotes and compare various facillities all from the comfort of your own computer chair. Honestly, who really has time to shop around by going to the individual businesses to get the rates? The site also features links to sites that sell packing supplies, real estate services, mortgage resources and listings for moving companies and truck rentals. It's a one-stop portal for all things moving related.
