No post yesterday. I felt like being totally lazy. When I got home from work, I felt like watching television, so I did. There was a Star Trek:TNG marathon on TNN. I wandered around blogworld for a few hours (where did the time go?), but never got around to making a post of my own. Oh, well. I did manage to get a load of dishes and a load of laundry done, though.
That's not going to be the case today, though. Two months will go by in a flash and I have much to do before (if) Marcus' parents come. I have to take my Christmas stuff to storage as it is STILL sitting by my front door. The weather is supposed to turn crappy tomorrow and if I don't take it today, it will all be sitting there next Monday.
I actually connected to ICQ for once. Amazing. Marcus emailed them and they claim the problem is on our end. Since we have not changed our setting and sometimes neither of us can get on, sometimes he can get on and I can't or vice versa, and sometimes we can both get on, I think it is their problem. I've been reading the ICQ discussion boards and many people are having the same problem. I wish they'd just admit that something is wrong that they have yet to figure out how to correct. It would be better than blaming the wrong party and getting everybody pissed off in the process. OK, no more mention of ICQ in my posts until somebody comes up with a fix.
Marcus cleaned all of his stray computer equipment off of the weight machine and I'm going to work out today. I know one of the reasons I hav been so down is all the extra weight I'm carrying around. I've always been overweight, but I've packed on 80 more pounds in the last 10 years and 20 of those in the time since I started school and quit driving.
First things first, though. Today is bill paying day. ICK! This is not going to be fun as my last paychecks sucked ass and I had to pay car registration this month. :( Well, better get to it.

Marcus and I watched a movie last night that his friend lent him called "
Bedazzled" that came out a couple of years ago starring Brendan Fraser and Elizabeth Hurley. Elizabeth Hurley plays the devil. It was pretty good. Brendan Fraser is so dreamy and has the most gorgeous eyes. There was a sequence where he looked like Fabio. *sigh* I know Marcus was enjoying the outfits that Elizabeth Hurley was sporting.

I think I figured out today why the one store is losing so much business. Their product tastes like crap! I really used to like the pizza we sold. It's one of the reasons I went to work for them as opposed to Dominos or something. Well, I haven't had pizza much recently. I'm either not in the mood, just wanting to get out of there, or something. Well, I made myself a pizza for lunch today and it sucked! They've changed vendors for the sauce and it didn't taste good, the cheese was tasteless and the management overproofs the dough and the crust tasted flat. Top it off with the fact that the pizza burned on the edges. YUCK! I was disappointed totally with it and I didn't have to pay for it. No wonder the sales are slipping. I certainly would never order again if I had had a pizza like that delivered.

1. What cologne or perfume do you wear?
I don't wear purfume much anymore. I think the only bottle I still own is a vial of Jovan Musk that I had in college from the late eighties (does purfume go bad?).
2. What cologne or perfume do you like best on the opposite sex?
Mmmm, Polo. The smell makes me swoon. It's been my favorite male scent since I smelled in on the head drummer in high school. Drakkar Nior is a really close second, though.
3. What one smell can you not stomach?
Rum. I hurled it in college while losing a game of quarters.
4. What smell do you like that others might consider weird?
Burning pine (see this
blog entry).
5. How do you plan to spend your weekend?
Working, as usual. I'm also going to tackle cleaning my craft room since Marcus' parents are coming for a visit and Marcus wants the house ship shape.
