UGH, I'm just feeling so damned blue today. Between all of the negative press (not just about the Katrina coverage), hating my jobs, having no money...it's all just wearing me down. I'm not even excited about my birthday coming up on Sunday. Not. One. Little. Bit. I feel like crawling into a hole and hiding. It doesn't help that it's all gray outside. I also haven't eaten today, either. Oh, well.
You know what one skill that one should have to possess before becoming a customer service rep? To be able to enunciate (to pronounce; articulate). Lucky me got stuck with the job of calling the web hosting company to get the site back up. The guy I spoke with was a mumbler. I hate mumblers. I know your job sucks and is totally boring, but open your mouth when you talk. Geez. Oh, and he talks to himself as he types, so I wasn't sure when he was talking to me or to himself. Totally different experience than the lovely young man I spoke with at Canon yesterday when I called to inquire about getting my camera fixed under the warranty. I understood him perfectly.
I guess I should try to get out of here. I haven't done any work since about 10:30. I do need to go get that camera in the mail since my warranty expires on the 12th.
