What is it about supercars like the Bugatti Veyron or the Jaguar XJ220 that makes heads turn and hearts race? Is it the aerodynamic body styling, the awe inspiring beauty of the design, the refined engineering under the hood or the imagined thrill of taking one of those speed demons on a ride of your own? There is certainly a level of prestige attached to such a vehicle.

We print a couple of high-end auto magazines where I work and I'm not the only one drooling over the vehicles after each issue comes off the press. Even if I had the money, though, I doubt I would purchase such a vehicle (though I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to own a Mustang Mach 1).

Since the majority of the general population will never be able to own such a fine piece of automotive machinery, VCARS, a network of UK auto dealer websites to aid consumers looking for Used Cars, has made available on their website a collection of Supercar wallpapers and screensavers for you to download and use on your computer. My personal favorite amongst the 10 shown on that page is the Lamborghini Murcielago. Marcus and I were driving on Hwy. 83 down by Colorado Springs once (doing about 60 mph) when a Lamborghini passed us like we were sitting still. It blew my mind. If none of those cars suit your fancy, they have offerings for many different make and models of cars.
