Current mood:
hot
It was a record-breaking 100°F today. Oh, Boy!!! No wonder I didn't get squat done today. Marcus actually mowed the lawn in this. That boy is insane. Thank goodness we have an awesome swamp cooler. It's still in the low 80's right now. Ick.
We went to The Armadillo for dinner tonight. I have been absolutely craving Burritos Supreme all day. Marcus ordered some of their Shrimp Poppers. I was hesitant to try one as they had jalapenos in them and I'm a total wuss, but I did and it was sooooo yummay! I might have to have some of them again. They had some guy dressed up in an armadillo suit that was wandering around the restaurant. It was cute for awhile, but by the time he came to our table the 10th time, it got a little old. He would mess up your hair, or try to pick a fight, or pretend he was picking lice out of your hair and eat it, or karate chop your neck. The dude even knocked Marcus' food (in the take-home box) on the floor. Good thing it didn't open up or something. I mean, Marcus and I were trying to have nice dinner conversation and the guy would not just let you ignore him. *sigh*
I know I'm weird, but one of my favorite songs in the whole world is "Barbie Girl" by Aqua. I've had a version that I downloaded on Limewire a long time ago, but I decided to go ahead and download it legit from Apple Music. I was looking at the cover art and I said to myself, "Dang, that cover looks really familiar." I check my CD collection and sure enough, I already own the darned thing. Who knew? So, that begun a heavy duty session of ripping cd's I own into my iTunes. That is one cool program. So is iPhoto. I just love my Mac. Now I just need more money so I can buy an iPod and take my music and data with me everywhere.
Well, I begin classes again this week. I'm a little disappointed because I haven't accomplished squat (except think) in the seven weeks I've taken off. Maybe I needed that, though. Fortunatley, the class I have this module is only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I have got time to get myself in gear and do some things before the next module (which will be the class I should've just taken and it is five days per week).
OK, well, I guess I'd better finish this up. I've been washing bedding and I still need to put the bed back together so I can get some sleep. I've got lots to do tomorrow.
