Domestic Geek

I was home sick from work today, so I read some Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Not going to get all five books in before the release on Saturday, though. Stupid work totally gets in the way. Booooo.

The frenzy is sitrring up. Seeing more little blurbs about the release on local news shows. It's also getting harder to get right onto the Mugglenet site I go to.

Still trying to decide if I should go to a release party or not. I suppose it will all depend on how Friday goes. Midnight is a little past my usual bedtime and I have to work Saturday morning and be home for the book delivery. There are only two more HP release dates ever. I really should go to at least one, y'know? I'm sure I'll be in a better frame of mind when I don't feel so darned icky.

Five more days and I just ordered my copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince from Amazon. Whoo Hooo! It will arrive on Saturday (as long as someone is here to accept it) or I get the book for free! What was even better was I had a credit for $1.80 that was applied to the book. I have no idea why I had a credit, but hey, I'll take it!

Less than a week to go! No exciting news that I could find on the Harry Potter front, so this will have to be a post as short as last night. Still haven't ordered my book yet. Told you, I'm the Queen of Procrastination©. LOL Ordering my book will be the first thing on the agenda for tomorrow as soon as i get home from *gack* work. That, and upgrading my Expression Engine. Whooo Hooooo!

Damn, I'm tired. Doing absolutely nothing this week at work has made me more exhausted than if I'd been overly busy. That sucks. So, all I have to say tonight is that the ordering on Amazon of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will have to take place tomorrow afternoon.
