Happy Halloween!
So, as par for the course, the first snowfall in Denver in on Halloween. Big, fat, fluffy, wet flakes are falling out there. Ick. I hate snow. I take that back, I hate snow when I have to drive somewhere, as in work tomorrow morning. I'm really wishing I had made myself get up earlier and get two days done so I wouldn't have to go in. Oh, well.
At least I made myself go out about an hour ago to put gas in the vehicle since I drove home on fumes (being unwilling to stop for gas). I was feeling sick this morning. I think it's because of an allergic reaction I'm having to bites on my ankles that I've had for about a week. They're either from spiders or fleas, not sure which. All I know is, they're bad. I slept most of the afternoon. I woke up when I heard trick-or-treaters knocking on our door about 4:15. I had totally forgot today was Halloween. Marcus had to turn them away--we had no candy this year. I didn't even get pumpkins or decorate at all. Maybe next year I'll be in a position where I can afford things like candy and pumpkins.
I'm working on switching over to Expression Engine this week. I am so sick of comment spam. I wasted an hour trying to log in to my expression engine, only to realize later that it was the wrong installation in the wrong directory. Doh! That's what I get for having so many test installations installed all over the place. I think I've also got 3 different word press installations that I was toying with. Must clean up web server.
I can't wait until Wednesday morning. Then all the election nonsense will be over. At least, I hope it will be over. Please don't let there be a repeat of 2000. I won't be overjoyed if Kerry comes out the winer, but I'd rather have that than the drawn out nonsense that we had last time. I'm also looking forward to not reading politics on people's blogs. I'm just so sick of all the rhetoric. One election is not going to clean up the state of government in this country. It's totally screwed up and out of control. It's going to take a major attitude shift of Americans before anything is going to get fixed.
Dang, the door is open at J.K. Rowling's site, but I can't seem to grab the right key! I can't go to bed until I accomplish this!
