OK, in 45 minutes I'll be getting my Gilmore Girls fix. Woohoo! I suspect this will be the last season of that show. I wasn't real thrilled with last years' episodes. They turned Luke into kind of a jerk. I was none too happy about that.
I spent the afternoon with a former pizza coworker. I haven't seen her since the end of last year and even then it was only in passing. She teaches tap dance and needs some buttons made for her students. Yeah, Marcus and I have a button maker. If you need buttons for some occasion, let's talk! I feel kind of bad for her. She and her husband are in more house than they can afford, she's still struggling with the after effects of a hysterectomy that I didn't know she had and she can't get enough hours in at the pizza place to even cover her health insurance. Totally put my little unemployment problem into perspective. It also squelched that tiny, nagging voice in my head that keeps telling me to go back to pizza...it won't be that bad.
Why does iced tea seem to taste better from an actual glass than from a plastic cup?
