Damn, I haven't written in a whole week. I've been kind of down lately. I haven't made much money in the last three weeks at work. I'm really hating being there, especially since I'm really close to having some marketable skills to find some other employment, but not quite. I really hate being around the manager since he screwed me on hours that one week. One bit of good news is that Marcus got me a small job to do some logo work for a friend of his. It's a start. I've got to keep in mind that I'll be moving on sooner than later. I can't wait for the day that I can turn in my key and never work there again.
I'm really digging the computer graphics classes I've been taking. Adobe Illustrator is the bomb! I'm also learning some cool Photoshop stuff. The best part of all of this is that I'm pretty good at it. I posted the latest project we did here. I saved it as a .gif for the web here. It looks much better in person. There's a couple of more things I want to add to it at a later date, but I think it came out pretty neat. I got a 100% (A) on it. My teacher really liked it!
Joey and Rachael finally got together on Friends tonight. Yay!!!
We supposedly had a lunar eclipse tonight. Wouldn't know it because of all the rain and clouds. Dang. Lunar eclipses are cool.
Another thing that has been bumming me is not having a house. I miss having a garden sooooooooo bad. That's another reason I've been so bummed. I'll never have a house if I don't make money. Stupid pizza job.
I can't believe it's been a whole week since that spring snow we had that broke all the trees. They say that since the trees were drought-stressed, they couldn't hold up as they normally would have. We still have huge limbs hanging from the tree where I normally park. Luckily, nothing actually landed on my car. We're not supposed to cut the trees around here, so I've just left them. If nobody has done anything about them by Sunday, I may try to get them down myself. Marcus is having a shed-building party on Saturday. We really need to get out lawn mower and stuff over here. I didn't make it to work in time to make a schedule request last Sunday, so I got stuck working (probably making no money again, *sigh*), and won't be of much help.
Marcus got to go see "The Matrix Reloaded" today with all the techies from work. I hope I can go see it soon. He said it was awesome.
OK, well, that's about it for now. I had better get to bed because I've got thumbnails to do in the morning for a CD cover project. I'm going to do Shadowfax's "The Dreams of Children." It's a cool CD. G'night.
