Where Do They Hide?

Last year (or more likely the year before that since I wasn't in a Christmas decorating mood at all last year), I realized I had two light bulb testers. I probably bought the 2nd one at an after Christmas 90% off sale at Hobby Lobby or something, not realizing I already had purchased one. Well, I needed to find one because part of the light string on the tree was out. Could I find either one? NO! I finally found one in a box of stuff that I had contemplated selling on eBay (like anybody would buy my extra Xmas light tester). You'd think I would have put it in with the spare light bubs. Nope. I'm sure it will turn up someplace totally stupid.

Classic Computer Mag Archive

I sent a link to this site to Marcus, but wanted to make note of it here for myself to check more in-depth later on. I found a site today that has archives of classic computer magazines. The only title I really remember seeing on store shelves is Compute Magazine, but I didn't become a hard-core computer user until after Marcus bought his iMac. Before that, I knew word processing and minimal graphics. Look at me now! W00t!

Being Five Cartoon

Dang, I wish I could remember which site I had found this on while surfing around earlier, but there's a cute cartoon out there in cyberland called "Being Five. It's about a little kid that blogs using voice recognition software — too cute! Here's one that I thought was exceptionally cute:

What Is Going On in My Head?

Man, I swear I must have holes in my head. I had all these things I was thinking about on the drive home from work today that just slipped out by the time I got my computer booted. *sigh* I also make notes to myself when I'm at work about stuff, like things I want to do or a hexadecimal code for a color that I'd like to work into my site and danged if I can find those notes I made yesterday, either.

I think I caught my dog's diarrhea (just kidding about the catching it part — not the having it part).

I'm trying to fix my web site because something has been slowing the loading of it down and now it won't load at all. Marcus says our server is getting hammered. I hate hackers and spammers.

Christmas eCard Games

I've written before on here about sites where you can send eCards. I found a really cool site that is all about eCards. The post today had a new one I can add to my list — Bluemountain.com. Their site has some cute Christmas online games that are contained with an eCard. It's like sending two gifts to your friends in one! My favorite one has to be the Gingerbread Hangman Word Puzzle — everytime you pick a wong letter, someone takes a bite out of the poor gingerbread man! It's too funny! Blue Mountain has a 30-day free trial, so you can send some of these cool eCards to friends this Christmas.
