I've got an old phone that I've had forever. Since Marcus got me a new phone when we changed our plan to Cingular (in anticipation of the iPhone release though he still hasn't given in and bought one yet), I was looking around the Internet for someplace I could unload it.
I came across a site called CellForCash.com. What's really cool about this site as opposed to others I found is they will quote you exactly what your phone is worth. Unfortunately it seems, I can't sell my old cell phone because it no longer has any market value. I was expecting that, but that is OK because they can take care of donating it for me. It seems such a shame to trash a perfectly working piece of technology.
I can just image with the iPhone released how many old, unwanted cell phones are floating around now. If you're one of those lucky consumers, why don't you sell a cell phone to CellForCash.com and recoup a little of that moolah? I'll sell them my current phone when I'm blessed with an iPhone.
