When did it become March? What happened to February?!!
I actually saw the sun today. He's been hiding all week. I missed him.
We're having a record sales week at work. Yay in the sense that my paycheck will be bigger, boo in the sense that my poor body is sooooooo tired from all the dough I had to make and that I had to deliver in the cold and snow all week. Also, the tips this week totally sucked for the kind of weather we had. Oh, well. When delivery times are 60+ minutes, what can you expect? I was griping that the sales wouldn't keep up if we didn't get some more help and surprise, surprise, the manager is actually going to start hiring some more people. I'm so totally amazed at that. In the past when sales started climbing, service started sucking, people quit ordering and sales went down. I guess the manager feels he has something to prove and doesn't want sales to go down this time. Yay!
I'm finally starting to recover financially from the underemployment fiasco. I'm beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel. As soon as I get Marcus and my Dad paid back the money I've borrowed, I can get cracking on some of my other debt. WhoooHooo!
School's going well. My typing speed is up to 74 WPM with 98% accuracy. Yay Me! I'm discovering that I'm not fond of the Quark page layout program we have to use. I wonder if Adobe's InDesign is better. When I ever get around to getting myself an Apple G4, I'll try it out and see. I really, really, really, really, really want a G4. I'm really psyched about the graphics classes I get to take in about 7 weeks. We get to learn Illustrator first and then Photoshop. I love making graphics on the computer. It will be nice to finally know what the hell I'm doing.
The new CompUsa location opened up here in Aurora this last week. What a joke! I went in to purchase Quicken for my newly set-up desktop PC. There were salesmen everywhere bugging me every time I stopped to look at something. There was, however, only one cashier and he and the customer at the front of the line were having some sort of problem. I ended up not getting the program.
I'm still working on the old craft room. I'm hoping that I really get it done this week. Living in our house in its state of disarray is kind of draining. I want everything unpacked! I'm taking some time off in a few weeks (3/21 - 3/23), so hopefully I'll have my act together by then. I want to redesign my web site, but I just don't have the time.
Well, that about it for now. Gotta go check my paint.
