A Friday Night Off

Wow, I actually got a Friday night off. We've been soooooo incredibly slow at work that the manager got smart and decided to let some of us drivers leave. Even though I need the money and should've stayed, I decided I'd rather socialize for once. Marcus and Mike usually game together every Friday, so I tagged along. Nina made some awesome Chicken Cordon Bleu for dinner. I swear it is the most awesome I've ever had. I need to get her to teach me how to make it one of these days. Then she and I watched "Serendipity" (w/ John Cusak) while the guys gamed. Nina has gone to bed since she has to work at 5 a.m., so I'm sitting here at Mike's iMac posting. When I'm done here, I'm going to get to work on this project. It's one of the many projects I want to decorate my craft room. This may sound stupid, but I really want my craft room to be cool. Crafting Traditions magazine has a monthly feature where they show someone's crafting space. I want to be in that magazine someday. I know, I'm a weirdo.

Have you ever noticed that some people who bid on eBay are stupid? I don't understand the ones that spend more on something than you can just buy on another website for cheaper. When I find something I want, I tend to do some comparative shopping to decide what a fair price would be. Am I the only one?

I decided I need a vacation. Not just from school, but from work, too. So, Marcus and I are going somewhere next week. I don't know where, yet, but at least we're going to do something. Camping, probably. His boss gave him Wednesday/Thursday plus he already had Friday (the 4th), so I'm a little stoked about that.

OK, off to do some stitchin'!
