Happy Birthday Star Trek!

I totally forgot to mark this joyous occasion. Forty years ago yesterday, a mere three days before I was born, the crew of the Star Ship Enterprise began their trek into television and human history. Thank you, Gene Roddenberry.

Kimberly Is An Idiot

I'm watching season 2 of 24 while I'm going through stuff. Kimberly Bauer is an idiot. Getting into trouble once or twice I can understand. More than that? You're just stupid. I can totally understand the grieving for your mom part, but she was stupid before her mom died. It took me awhile to get into the second season because she kept turning me off.

200 Cigarettes

So, I'm sorting through some more vhs tapes and I came across a movie that I had totally forgotten about: 200 Cigarettes. It's one of those movies that was funny in a stupid way.

Shoot. Yeah, Shoot.

I posted this over at Luka's as part of Free-For-All Friday, but I had to repost here.

The best commercial running on tv right now? The Citibank Identity Theft one featuring Thelma and Norma. Something about two older Southern gals having tea making motorcycle noises makes me snort the beverage of consumption out my nose! “Them bikes be like Waaaaaaaah.” “No, Brrrrrrrrrrrr.” “No, Waaaaaaaaah.” Priceless!

CSS Mastery

I've been reading this book, CSS Mastery by Andy Budd, for the last few days. It was recommended to me by a couple of people and now I'm recommending it to you.

Most of what I know about CSS is self-taught. I learned a little bit more in school, but not much. This book explains very well concepts such as child selectors, quirks mode, ems, etc. that I "kind of" grasped but didn't really understand.
