I Don’t Have Mail

Current mood: ?bearmood
Lycos is trying to revamp their whole set of sites and I can't look at my mail. ARGH!

The dogs both got baths yesterday. Yay! It was so nice to pet them and not have a filthy, greasy hand afterwards. Now if only I could get some grass out in the yard, they might stay cleaner a little longer. I'm going to work on the carpets when I get home from school.

I've got a quiz coming up this afternoon in unix class, but I just am not in the mood to study for it. Oh, well. I hope I do better than the 70% I got last week. At least I know this one is coming. Two more weeks of class and I'M DONE! I don't even care if they are offering anything next month that I would want to take, I've got to move on. I need to figure out where to come up with the money to get me a linux box. I'll lose the skills I'm gaining now if I don't keep using them.

Schools Shouldn’t Order Pizzas

Sorry about the lack of posting yesterday. Marcus has got me working on a project with him and I'll post more about that when we're finished. More bad news on the work front. The stupid owner is trying to get school lunch accounts set up with the surrounding districts. He's starting with Adams 20. Oh, boy. I definately need to find other work before that happens. I went through that at the South Aurora store with the Cherry Creek lunch account. Lots of work and not worth the money. I really have a problem with schools contracting out their lunches, anyway. Kids need better food than Taco Bell, Chick-Fil-A and Blackjack pizza. I also have a problem with teachers who can't teach bribing their students with promises of pizza on a certain day. You can always tell when it's the end of the quarter/school year because the school orders come piling in. Of course, it doesn't help that the owner offers schools a discount. I once talked to a student while I was waiting for the teacher to come pay that five different teachers he had that day were ordering pizza.

Rested

Dang, I slept from like 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Yay for me. I had my alarm set to go off at 5, but I must've turned it off. I'm so not looking forward to making dough today as it took up my whole stupid day yesterday. I'm hoping that since it was so busy on Halloween that this Friday would not be as busy. Of course, nothing ever happens as I expect or want. With my luck, they probably had the busiest Friday night ever. Oh, well. I need a shower before I get going. GET MOVING, DONNA!
