I need more sleep. I have absolutely no motivation today. I'm going to be a couch potato and then off to bed when Marcus gets home from work.

Man, I intended to get up and go to work two hours ago, but here I am. Marcus has already left for work, even. I didn't even get out of bed until 7. I'm so not feeling like working today. I can't wait to find a place to work that offers paid days off. That's what truly sucks about this job I have now. If I don't work, I don't get paid. It's six days a week and if I do call in, I get stuck making up for it the next day because there is nobody else that will take the responsibility of doing some of the work that I missed (as they are lazier than I am feeling now and alot of times don't even get the work done that they're supposed to do). Of course, I am going to miss the fact that I can work whenever I want as long as I get stuff done before the dinner rush hits.

Damn, my laziness is causing me to have to actually deal with people at work today. It wouldn't be so bad if they were actually working as hard as I, then they wouldn't have time to stand around talking to me. I'm just hoping the driver that the one head manager has a crush on isn't working today, since he's opening. He always gets there early on her days to do her prep, then he bathes in about a gallon (OK, I'm exaggerating, slightly) of this cheesy cologne that I'm totally allergic to and then I have to watch him act like a total dork fawning all over her. He's older than I, she has a boyfriend, and it makes me want to puke. A couple of weeks ago, he got there way early to decorate the store for her birthday. Since the ventillation fans were messing up the decorations, he turned them off and it got really hot in there (500 degree ovens running and no fans), then when she showed up and he lit the candles on her cake, he turned the oven's exhaust fan off (which takes the gas fumes out). I didn't realize he had done this until I started smelling gas and couldn't breathe. I'm so glad he's willing to kill us all just to try to impress this stupid chick. I think what really makes me mad about the whole thing is she plays it to the hilt. I could never take advantage of anybody like that. It all makes me ill.

I can't wait for this Unix 4 class. I am so looking forward to this. I hope I'm not disappointed.

Finally got my Halloween layout finished. It's not quite what I had in mind, but it will do for now.

Ok, stop goofing around and get your ass to work!

Leo LaPorte (TechTv's The Screensavers) just tried to put his eye out during a keyboard cleaning demonstation trying to pop a key off the keyboard. LOL That dude cracks me up.


We made beef jerkey yesterday with the dehydrator Marcus got for me a couple of years ago. It was the first time we tried it with sliced cuts of meat (the stuff that is done in the picture is formed ground beef). It was tasty, but a little crunchy. I think we cut it too thin. We'll try thicker slices next time. I'd really like to find a great marinade. We tried two different kinds, but they weren't quite what I was looking for.

Yay, I got a 95% on the Cisco test. Two of the ones I missed I had right, but changed my mind at the last minute. Stupid, stupid. Oh, well. At least it's over.

The medical students they brought to this dumb school have to be the rudest bunch of people I've ever run across. Not only that, but am I the only one who finds it odd that the major majority of smokers here are in the medical program? Hmm.

I'm really starting to wonder about the stupid owner. He shows up this morning to pick up the deposit with no store keys. Brilliant. He can't be too bad off financially. He's got another new car. Must be rough. Probably could afford it after not paying management bonuses last month. LOL

I realy, really, really want one of these! If I can't have one of those, I'd settle for this. Of course, I'd also have to get this. I'd love to start a home embroidery business part-time. Anybody got $6000 I can borrow?

Ok, I'm going home now. Gotta watch Survivor and Friends tonight.

Just got done with the last full day of Cisco class and the final exam review.

Nothing like trying to cram 10 chapters of information into 4 weeks of class and having a final cover the entire thing with no weekend to review. I hope it's multiple choice like the midterm or I'm screwed. My brain feels like mush right now. I hope it clears after I get some lunch and get home.

I couldn't go to sleep again last night. NyQuil didn't even do it. I needed to get up around 1 a.m., but at 9:30 last night I was still wide awake. I think my body is trying to develop a bladder infection, again. Of course I overslept, so I didn't do any dough at one of the stores. I'll have to catch that up tomorrow. Yay.

Well, I better get going.
