Domestic Geek

I had to put the car in the shop today. I knew I had an oil leak and the burning oil was making smoke pour out from under my hood. The estimated damage: $1000! This on top of the smallest paycheck I've had in months because the sales have sucked so bad. Why me?

I've been getting/seeing this email about being a bad American alot lately. As one who never believes what is passed around the Internet, I checked to see if it was indeed written by George Carlin. A page on George Carlin's web site addresses such things. Unfortunately, it, along with many others attributed to him, are not. Too bad, as I had gained a little respect for the man in the short time I thought that he had said these things. Oh,well. Nonetheless, I agree wholeheartedly with every sentiment in the email. So, I made my own Bad American page for my web site. It is pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Man, I have been so sick the last few days. I have so much stuff I want to write about and absolutely no energy to do so. Maybe a nice long post tomorrow.
