Love My Guy

Current mood: loved
Marcus is the coolest guy. He's about the only good that has come from working at Blackjack.

Rosen Links

Current mood: mellow
Here's some good advice from 850 KOA's talk show host Mike Rosen about how to handle a peace protestor. They also did this on the Locker Room on KBPI this week. There is also a neat letter on the same page (scroll to the top) from a navy ensign to his father. Aslo on Rosen's site is this picture. Serves the guy right.

Wow, what's with all the 80s movies lately? They just showed Purple Rain on one of the Starz channels (another free preview weekend). I'm starting to feel like I'm in a time warp with all this.

OMG, I just forgot that I put food in the microwave about an hour ago. I guess I'm going to have to heat it up again.

Freebird

Current mood: hungry
I wish Marcus would hurry up and get home from work so we can have dinner.

I had to chase my lovebird, Kane, back into her cage when I got home from work. I guess I didn't close the latch good enough when I fed her. Now she's had a taste of freedom and was not too happy about being back in her cage. Poor thing.

I was wondering how the band members from Anthrax were feeling with the latest terrorism scare. Read what they had to say about it here.

Here I was just writing about my favorite 80s movies the other day and now "St. Elmo's Fire" is on A&E. Cool. I hope I can stay awake long enough to watch it. Andrew McCarthy is so dreamy. Those eyes make me melt. I wonder what he's doing now. I guess I'll have to do some research later. Who else is dreamy? Chandler Bing on Friends (Matthew Perry). Too bad he had a drug problem. Oh, well, he's still cute.

Bitch Moan

Current mood: crappy
Man, I feel like shit. The weather is icky, I'm tired, I'm still crampy and I'm trying to get sick. President Bush is on the television, so no Survivor or Friends until 9 p.m. when I can catch them on the west coast channels. I forgot to eat anything today and I don't feel like making dinner. I've got at least 18 batches of dough to make tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. It's supposed to start snowing overnight and I hate driving on icy highways. Oh, well. I guess I'd better go rustle up some food.
