Concentation Lost

Current mood: distracted
I am so not in the mood for a test today. I got up at 6 a.m. to study for the darned thing and I just can't concentrate. Bad dreams again, sparked by what I found out at work yesterday. I'll write about it after I bomb my test this afternoon.

I got this just in time. A gracious note from a friend in my email this morning:

WARNING!!!!!
If a man comes to your front door and says he is conducting a survey and he asks you to show him your boobs,
DO NOT SHOW HIM YOUR BOOBS!
This is a scam, and he is only trying to SEE YOUR BOOBS.
I wish I had heard about this before yesterday. I feel so stupid.

Remove Bin Laden

Oh, one other note: If anyone knows unix/linux, check out this shirt from thinkgeek.com. Quite appropriate for the day, I think.

Mood Icons

OK, I'm going to start using these cute mood icons created by a woman named Charity, who has graciously granted her permission for me to use them.
Current mood: apathetic
I'm watching "Blazing Saddles" on Comedy Central and blogging instead of studying for tomorrow's Cisco midterm. Oops. I love Mel Brooks movies. I'm going to have to get these on DVD someday. I think the only one we own is Spaceballs. Maybe I'll add them to my amazon wishlist later.

procrastination list

I've tried many times today to study. My mind is just not on it. The U.S. started air strikes against the Taliban in Afghanistan today. I spent a good portion of the afternoon watching coverage of that on CNN.

Then the Bronco game was actually on a station on the dish, so I watched that. The Broncos beat the Kansas City Chiefs 20-6. The first time in a long time that they actually won when I watched. What's up with that? I still miss Ed.

Things are bad at work. I'll have to get into that later. I really should be studying...

QOTD

Here's a quote from this week's paycheck that I need to start abiding by:

"Be like a postage stamp -- stick to one thing until you get there."
