Missing Stryper

So, how weird is this?

I was driving down Buckley Rd./Airport Blvd. on my way home from school today and I got stopped at the traffic light by Aurora's technical school (Pickens). It just happens to be across the street from the veterinary office where I had to have my rabbit, Stryper, put down about six years ago. I couldn't help it, but I started bawling and missing him terribly. Probably due to sleep deprivation more than anything, but the pain I felt was just as bad as that day. I'm going to have to put Styper's story on my pets page. He was a good bunny.

Ursa’s a Dork

My Alaskan Malamute dog, Ursa, has been waking us up the last few nights. It's pretty bad if she's waking Marcus up. He could sleep through a tornado, I think. She has taken to chewing on, of all things, the bedroom door's doorstop. I don't understand why, after almost four years of living here, she has decided that this is a chew toy. It's totally destroyed. I need to replace it so the door's finish isn't ruined, but if I get the same style, she'll just chew the new one up, as well. It's not like she doesn't have stuff to chew on. I get her bones regularly, she gets dog treats a couple of times a day, she eats dry dog food. *sigh*
