While surfing around some Thursday Thirteen sites, I noticed a big theme this week is Back-to-School. My most favorite back to school commercial is for Staples, featuring Alice Cooper:
I've often wondered why schools make parents purchase school supplies. There is enough money (don't let them make you think otherwise--fire a couple of useless administrators) that schools could purchase this stuff in bulk cheaper than parents can buy it for and dole it out to students as needed. Does a company expect its employees to provide their own pens, crayons or copy paper? NO! Anyway, don't really want to get off on a tangent about what I feel is wrong with the public school systems.
Warning: These are NOT worksafe and are a little crude. In fact, they may easily offend, but dang, they're FUNNY! Make sure you listen all the way to the end of each one.
I saw this over a year ago and meant to post it. Since it showed up in my inbox again today, here it is:
