Dang, I wish I could remember which site I had found this on while surfing around earlier, but there's a cute cartoon out there in cyberland called "
Being Five. It's about a little kid that blogs using voice recognition software — too cute! Here's one that I thought was exceptionally cute:

OK, I'm having a crappy day and need some humor. Since I haven't posted any funny things I've found lately, here's one I've seen around and most recently at
Geeks Make Me Hot:
Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment community.
The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly. He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch.
The grave site was piled high with flours.
Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes.
Despite being a little flaky at times he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.
Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, two children, John Dough and Jane Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart.
The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
On a serious note, the Pillsbury site has some
cute holiday downloads, such as recipe cards, gift tags, cookie exchange invitations, etc.

See, there really is a blog for everything out there.
Chewing Pencils is a group blog that offers advice and tips for cartoonists that want to turn their hobby into a profession. They recently
had a Christmas Cartoon contest where the strip had to contain the word blog. The winner was
Ming from Artmaker. He has graciously offered up the comic for use on our own blogs:
Go check out some of the
other winners.

I meant to post this
Dibert cartoon this morning and totally spaced it until just now:
Maybe all I needed in my past jobs was more coffee.
While I'm at it, here's a
Non Sequitur that I really liked that ran back in August:
One more thing. There's a cool flash puzzle/game over at the M&M site promoting Dark Chocolate M&Ms for Halloween. There's a painting that contains references to the titles of 50 dark movies. I only figured out 35 of them.
Go try it and and tell me what they all are...it's driving me batty!

I don't know if we'll ever really know whether Landis really doped or if he was a victim of the French, but I know that his Tour de France ride is forever tarnsihed. Sad, really. Anyway, Mike sent this
YouTube video link to Marcus and I just had to share it all with you. Video is in the extended.
