Today was not the greatest of days. It started out great: I slept in, read a little in bed after I woke up (Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged"), Marcus took me to McDonald's for breakfast, then WHAM! -- the day went to hell.
As we were pulling up to the house, Marcus noticed my tire was flat. I knew there was a nail in one of the
bad front tires and there was no way the Discount Tire guys would patch it. Since I don't have any money, Marcus ended up shelling out money for the new tires. I hate owing him money. He did get me a new rim to put one of the old tires on so that I never have to drive on one of those shitty fake doughnut spares again.
Having to wait for tires to be put on made me late for work. I really needed to get to work early today because I was way behind on dough. I've been feeling really lethargic this week and haven't been keeping up. The manager also scheduled me to work early on Wednesday and that helped put me even more behind. I was really hoping to get ahead today. No such luck. They had to use dough tonight that I made this afternoon. The sad thing is, I really don't care.
I also think I'm allergic to the new hats we have to wear. All week I've been feeling bad when I'm working and my head has been itching like crazy. I was thinking that maybe I was having a reaction to the antibiotics I was on or something, but I've finished them. I also had a fiery hot rash and bumps where the hat touched my forehead tonight. I told the manager that the hat was making my head itch like mad and he informed me that another employee was having the same problem. I wonder what's causing it. The hat is supposedly 100% cotton, but who knows what else is on it (sizing, dye, thread, etc). He told me I can go back to wearing my old hat for now. Yay!
Well, I better get to bed so that I can get dough done somewhat early tomorrow. I want to finish painting my craft room so that I can finish unpacking. I'm tired of having stuff in boxes. I also want to get the
workstation that
Marcus and
Dave got me for Christmas set up and put to use. G'night.

Marcus and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day, though. I know he loves me and I don't really need a phony holiday for him to show me that he does or vice versa. On that note, I have to go spend the evening at work. Everybody that does celebrate it, have a good holiday.

1. Bacon or sausage?
Bacon
2. Eggs: scrambled or not?
It depends. If they're scrambled they've got to have cheese, garlic, parsley, maybe some bacon bits. I love dressed up scrabled eggs. Otherwise, eggs over easy is how I usually prepare them.
3. French toast or regular toast?
French toast.
4. Pancakes or waffles?
Both!
5. Muffins or bagels?
Depends on the type. I absolutely LOVE blueberry muffins and my bagel has got to have sesame seeds on it.
6. Coffee or tea?
Tea. I used to love a good cup of coffee, but now about the only coffee I like are Starbucks Mocha Frappacinos or coffee ice cream.
7. Juice: orange or grapefruit?
Orange - I absolutely HATE grapefuit juice.
8. Hot or cold cereal?
I really love a big bowl of warm oatmeal.
9. To put in cereal: bananas or strawberries (or some other fruit)?
Strawberries are yummy. I like raisins in cereal, also.
10. Eat breakfast at home or at a restaurant?
I love eating breakfast out, especially at a buffet place.

I have just arrived home after spending the afternoon at my friend Nina's house. Her 25th birthday was the 5th and she had planned a gathering for the 7th, but dumb-assed me has been so out of it from being sick that I totally forgot to ask for it off from work. So I worked while everyone else took a
trip to the zoo. Marcus had never been to the Denver Zoo before, and apparently he had a really good time.

Today we had pizza from Pizza Hut. Mike's iguana,
Gorgo, decided to take a flying leap off of his perch and landed right in the middle of my plate. He grabbed my breadstick and took off running. It was the funniest thing ever. After we ate, we played several hands of Uno, had cheese pie and ice cream, and listened to some South Park songs while Nina opened her gifts.
I'm still not feeling up to snuff. The antibiotics I'm on are causing a yeast infection. Yay. Last night, while I was working, I was running a fever that was causing my windows to fog up. I didn't want to take anything to bring the fever down because I want the germs in me to DIE! I will be so glad when I finally get over this crap.
