Movie Review

Mike and Nina took Marcus and I to see "Shanghai Knights." The experience reminded Marcus and I why we don't go to movie theaters. Why didn't the asshole parents take the jabbering, kicking kids to go see "Jungle Book 2" like they wanted instead of a movie that was just a little too mature for kids under five? Good flick, though.

Marty on eBay

My old teacher, Marston Jaquis, is selling some of his works on eBay now. How cool is that? He's teamed up with other artists and now have their own eBay store.

Why?

School went fairly well today. I'm starting to get the hang of doing stuff the way the teacher wants it. Sad thing is, I don't think he feels like teaching right now. He's easily distracted and I don't feel we're learning as much as we could. Oh, well. That's OK. Maybe he's just having a bad week. I know I've certainly been there.

The truly sucky thing is now I have to go to work (until 9 p.m. tonight). I'm really in a mood to do some stuff that needs to be done around here. Work sucks ass!

Pooped

I'm soooooooo tired and my right shoulder is KILLING me. It took 26 batches of dough and seven hours of work (over five hours for dough and another 1.5 for veggies) to get caught up so that I could actually have a day away from that hell hole. Of course, that shot to hell any plans I had of getting anything decent accomplished for the weekend. Damn.

I got my car aligned today so that I don't ruin those tires. I also had the oil changed while I was there. I've been putting that off for a while. The stupid clerk at Sears told me that he'd call my cell when the car was done. I had to wander the mall since I didn't have transportation to go anywhere else and I had fogotten to bring the book I'm reading. Did he? No. I finally got really tired of walking, the food I ate at Master Wok was making me ill (note to self: NEVER eat there again), so I went back to sit in the waiting room and my car was already done. The guy who said he'd call me was nowhere in sight. *sigh* Oh, well.

I'm probably going to go take a little nap and then get cracking on my craft room. Marcus says he's going to take me to a movie tonight since I was all depressed yesterday. I was bummed about work ruining my life (I have to do dough six days a week) and never having any fun since school takes up all my other "free time." I hate it when I get like that. Oh, well.
