Lazy Beyatch

Man, I was freezing earlier and not feeling too well, so I went to lie down to warm up. I think that was around 1 p.m. I talked to Dad for a few minutes when he called around 1:30, next thing I know, Marcus is waking me up around 4:30 with, "Didn't you have to go to the bank today?" So much for the productive day I had planned.

Snow Day

Marcus decided to stay home from work today. The weather was really icky when we got up. The highway wasn't closed and he was going to go until Byers and Bennett schools closed, then he decided to stay home and study for is Cisco certification. I'm kind of glad he did. I hate worrying about him driving in bad weather. I'm off today, so I don't have to go in, either. YAY!

I guess it's a good thing it snowed. I had this urge to drive up to Fort Collins today. Maybe later in the week I'll go.

I'm trying to break in the new shoes I bought. I hate buying shoes and I haven't had a new pair in like two years. I feel like I have lead weights strapped to my feet and my calf muscles are aching.

Meat Locker

When I got to work today, the moron manager remembered to turn off the oven; however, the swamp fans were blowing full blast. I guess they took the covers off the vents after I left yesterday. As a cold front came though last night and it's supposed to snow today, it made it absolutely FREEZING in the store. I complained to the head manager about it when he came in to write the schedule. He told me that moron manager seems to think that making the environmental conditions unbearable for everyone is totally funny. Maybe they should start docking the utility costs for leaving things on all night out of his paycheck and then let's see how funny it is. Of course, something like that will never happen. In my younger days, I probably would've done something to retaliate. I'm just going to let it go.
