Current mood:
crappy
I don't feel well today. I asked Marcus to turn the furnace on this morning because I'm absolutely freezing. I would've just stayed in bed to keep warm, but I'm having the worst cramps today. Yippee. Marcus, Mike, Nina and I are going to Las Vegas this weekend to attend Mike's sister's wedding. I've got so much to do before we leave, but I can't leave my house. FedEx tried to deliver my printer twice yesterday, but the first time I was at school and the second I was at work and Marcus wasn't home yet. Argh! I don't even dare get into the shower yet.
I just heard on WB2 news that Cub Foods will be closing all of it's Colorado stores on November 15th. Damn it, that is where I prefer to shop. This so totally sucks!
I would hate to be
that guy at the Cubs playoff game yesterday that interferred with the player catching the foul ball. If the Cubs had won, they would've gone on to the World Series. Now they have to go to game 7 tonight. I hope for
that poor guy's sake that the Cubs win.

Current mood:
infuriated
This stupid school continues to infuriate me.
CollegeAmerica Denver didn't do well educating Business students (ask my friend, Roxanne). They didn't do well educating Computer Technology students (ask me or my friend, Reverie). They didn't do right educating Computer Programming students (ask
this girl). They certainly didn't educate the Medical students that were there when I left as their teacher walked out. Today I open my paper and see the following ad:
This program is so new it is not even on their website. I'm sure they have the stellar teaching staff lined up for this that they had for all the other programs. So, how can you really get good at educating students when you change your programs offered based on market trends? That's just it, YOU CAN'T! Pick something and stick to it and maybe, MAYBE you will get a reputation for being a fine educational facility instead of the sleazy ripoff school that you are. My advice: If you're looking to study anything offered by CollegeAmerica, RUN! Chances are you'll regret it and probably owe them a whole lot more money than I do.

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Current mood:
awake
Well, no big shocker here after the last post, but I'm thinking the insomnia thing is a result of my financial crisis. Sure, my conscious mind believed that I wasn't doing too bad, but my subconsious knew. Guess that's why at 4 am I'm wide awake again. The stress has also caused a whole bunch of canker sores to break out in my gums. Ouch!
I wish I had no self-respect and could start a site like
Save Karyn. I'm in no mood to deal with the backlash that comes with online begging, though. Can you believe that chick
wrote a book about the whole thing?

frustrated
Have you ever done anything really stupid? Like forget to write a $300 electronic payment in your check register and think: OK, I haven't been driving much and when I do, the tips suck ass, but I'm still getting by. I'll get through this. Then you realize your mistake and that even after clearing out your savings account of the money that you owe Marcus you don't have the money to make your car payment and you just stupidly put a printer on your credit card that you realize you really couldn't afford and the dumbass manager at work claims he can't get you anymore hours because he's a total dick and the sales aren't getting any better because the owner is stupid and does't realize his current advertising plan isn't working and you're behind at school and when in the hell are you going to find time to find some more part time work that will fit in with your dough job and school. How was that for a run-on sentence? Yeah, I'm in a great mood right now. I guess I'll be selling alot of junk on eBay this next week.
Dough at work is blowing and getting thrown out again. Could the dumb manager mention this to me yesterday before I made 21 batches? NO. He wants me to cut back on the amount so there was nothing to make today, so I drove all the way across town and wasted gas (and therefore money I don't have) for absolutely no reason.
Then "Friends" totally sucked. I'm tired of Ross being a total imbicile (he's got a doctorite, he can't be that stupid). The Joey/Rachael thing is really lame. Either get them together or don't. I'm starting to be glad this is the last season.
*sigh* I'm going to bed.
