I know, I know. I said I was going to bed. I hate going to bed at 5:30 p.m.

A couple of guys I met at school and I were talking today about a guy who used to be in our networking classes. He's in his 30's and he is supposedly job hunting. He had jet black hair that he has now dyed blonde. They wanted to start calling him Ponyboy (after the Outsiders movie character and the line "Stay golden"). So, this led to a conversation about The Outsiders and who starred in it. I can't believe how many well-known people were in the cast: C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, Emilio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Leif Garrett, Matt Dillon, Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, etc. I remember it was one of my sister's favorite movies. She could quote the whole thing from memory. I put it on my Amazon wishlist, so somebody get it for me for Christmas. OK? Make sure it's DVD.
I was talking to the store owner today. He's finally getting mad about the crappy customer service his stores have and the effect it had on sales. I tried to tell him he had a major problem last January, but I guess it wasn't hitting him hard enough in the wallet for him to take notice. Combine that with the fact that cheese prices have gone through the roof and he's finally concerned. It figures he's threatening to do something about it now that I'll be leaving since I'm going to have a new job soon (see, I'm thinking positively!).
There's this creepy guy that lives next door. He must be late 30's or early 40's and still lives with his mommy. She told me he was a truck driver. I don't know when he works, he always seems to be home. There is a rule about not working on cars in the park, but he's always out trying to get this Subaru he bought working. It smells like gasoline outside constantly. He's always standing on the front steps smoking, too. He better not blow our houses up. It seems like whenever I go to the kitchen to get a drink or let the dogs out or when I come home, there he is. Ick.
Well, I'm going to bed now. I'm making two day's worth of dough at both stores tomorrow so I don't have to make any dough on Thursday. That's the day of the big CollegeAmerica career fair and I don't want to be sweaty and stink like onions if there are actually any prospective employers there.

I finally updated my template to change some of my links. I'm still really angry about the losers on the web driving interesting people away from blogging. Oh, well. I hope they're proud of themselves.
The water company must've upped the chlorine content in the water again. It tastes like crap. Bleh! They must've tested positive for something yucky. There hasn't been much moisture here lately. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I might have to figure out how to get a whole house filter. I've got a fiter pitcher, but that doesn't help the automatic ice maker.
I really need to find some other source of income in addition to finding a new job. My student loans are going to start coming due here soon (the first payment is the end of October) and I doubt I'll find a job that pays more than $15/hour to start, if that. Those are going to be painful checks to write every month. It wouldn't be bad if I felt it to be money well spent. As soon as I get my stinking piece of paper, the "Why you should think twice about attending schools like CollegeAmerica" webpage will be born.
I want to study something like web design, web programming or graphics. I'm afraid to after the crappy experience of late. Can I find a really decent school or am I better off trying to teach myself? I'll definately not look into it until I get established at a new job. Wouldn't it be nice to find a company that offers tuition assistance? I doubt many of those exist during these crappy economic times. Who knows?
I really don't want to go to work tomorrow. I'm so burned out and bored. The thought of making one more batch of dough makes me want to scream. Not only that, someone in management always does something over the weekend that makes me shake my head in disbelief of the stupidity of it all.
Well, I guess I better get offline and get my butt to bed. Boo.

I must be starting to get back to normal. I actually got a full night's sleep last night. I didn't wake up once and no bad dreams that I can recall. Now if I can find a decent job and get away from pizza, I'll be set. Marcus and I are coming to the sad realization that nobody is going to buy our house anytime soon, so we've decided to try and make the best of where we are at. This is one of the reasons that I did not want to start packing yet. Marcus had and now he may have to unpack some of it. Oh, well. I must work on my resume today. There is a job fair on Thursday that I must attend, so I've got to get in gear.
