Domestic Geek

Yesterday I saw a friend from Platt at work who was taking a tour of the facility with her new client. I haven't seen her since the art show last November. We squealed like little girls when we saw each other. Ha! Anywho, we promised each other we'd get together for lunch soon and we'd include another friend, if possible. Well, I wrote this other friend an email today and waited all day wondering why she had not responded. I'm sitting here closing Firefox windows and there's the email...not yet sent. D'oh!

Recently, Staples put one of their office supply stores on Colorado Blvd. here in Denver. I'm not sure when exactly, but I happened to see it driving home one day. I was looking for a couple of things related to the craft room clean-up and decided to stop in and see what they had.

Well, they didn't have what I was looking for, but on my way out I saw a bin with Easy Buttons. If you've ever seen one of their commercials on television, you know what that is. Anyway, I didn't stop to look at them, but when I checked their web site just now, it turns out they donate $1 of every purchase on those to the Boys & Girls Club of America. That's so cool! I may end up going back later to get one.

Wow, I had a busy week last week. I'm still recovering, thus my absence from posting. I think last week's events will be the subject of this week's Thursday Thirteen.

Anyhow, at the opening of the newest Denver area Apple Store last weekend at Park Meadows mall, Marcus and I saw a guy wearing an iTrek shirt. I wish I had the guts to ask strangers to pose for pictures. I just remembered to look that up. I'm so getting one of these. The dude was wearing the one I have pictured to the right there. --->

I'm torn as to weather to get a red shirt in that style, or a blue one with the Vulcan on it. Decisions, decisions. I guess I'll just have to eventually get both. LOL
