They’re the bomb!

Since I totally ragged on the stupid chick from Selma's Yarns the other day, I feel obliged to sing the praises of another. (I would link to that post, but I've just realized my archives are jacked.) I mentioned that I had ordered the chart from someone else and the most amazing thing happened--I actually received the correct chart last Friday afternoon! It only took three, count them, three days to get it. I was soooooo happy. The store is The Rocking Horse. I'll definitely check her out first if I'm ever looking for a particular pattern. Whoo Hooo!

I've got more things to say, but I'm tired and it's late, so they'll have to wait until tomorrow.

Why Am I Still Awake?

Current mood: bearmood tired drained
I'm really tired, but I can't sleep. I've got a lot on my mind, plus Marcus isn't home, plus I've had reaaaaalllly bad cramps this week, plus I'm not feeling too well at the moment (I hope I'm not getting sick--like West Nile virus or something). I tried to get somebody to work for me tonight, but nobody was availble. Wah, wine, bitch, moan. I'm really tempted to do my schoolwork from home tomorrow. C'mon, get your ass to bed and get some rest.

Craft Business

I really, really, really want to start some sort of crafting business. I've been dreaming about doing this for well over ten years. This is the most confident that I've ever felt about actually being able to do it. Right now I'm just trying to figure out where to get some money for the inital capital outlay. Oh, and I need a really good business name. Any ideas?

The Worms Crawl In…

The latest worms, like Sobig, Welchia and Blaster, are wreaking havoc all over. Poor Marcus is still at work. The entire IT team is to stay there until they can get the things under control because work is not getting done without network access. I guess the higher ups in the company are pretty ticked about it. Yesterday morning they pulled the plug on all outside traffic. Even my dad's computer had the blaster worm. I spent a good couple of hours on Monday patching his system and removing stuff. Too much fun, I tell you.
UPDATE: Marcus didn't get home until 2 pm on Thursday. Nothing like a 28-hour shift, huh?
