Not Fair

Current mood: devilmood--stressed frazzled
Just had a pop quiz in Unix class. ARGH! 70%, not good. What a terrible thing to do to a class on a Monday.

Where Did The Time Go?

Dang, I sat down to quickly check my email and fix yesterday's blog alignment problem I was having at 6 a.m. It's almost 9 and I'm still sitting here surfing! Where is my morning going? I have to leave for school soon. I wish I could stay home today, but for once, I'll actually miss something if I don't go.

Stinky Dog

Damn dog has got gas. HELP ME! I can't breathe! I think he's doing this to get back at me for shaving him yesterday. LOL The funniest thing about him is that whenever he farts, it scares him and he runs from it. HA

I Didn’t Give It Permission To Do That

I had to install Zone Alarm on my computer. Something on my system has recently been starting a dial-up connection every time I boot up. It turns out to be something in the Norton utilities I have installed. I just need to figure out how to disable whatever is dialing out without losing my ability to update my virus protection. What a pain.

Satellite Soon?

Current mood: devilmood--awake awake
Denver Bronco helmetThe Denver Broncos (4-3) beat the New England Patriots (3-4) 31-20 yesterday. Since we were celebrating our anniversary and doing "us" stuff all day, I didn't even look to see if I could get the game on TV. Yay, I'm glad they won, though.

Some disturbing news, Echostar (Dish Network) acquired Hughes (DirectTv) yesterday. Talk about a monopoly. I know some government agency is going to have something to say about that. I just hope that doesn't drive the price of our satellite service up. Speaking of satellie, Marcus is closer to just getting satellie internet access. I wish it didn't have the $600 price tag. We're going to need to get a windows box from somewhere to act as a proxy since you can't use it with anything Apple. How stupid is that?

We're trying to get the dogs shaved since it's bath time for them again. I need to get the carpets cleaned before winter sets in and there is no point when the dogs are filthy. Since it looks like we're going to be staying here (for awhile, at least), we need to get some grass in. I'm tired of the dogs bringing in goat's head burrs and cleaning the mud off their feet when it rains/snows is a pain.
