I can't believe it's been almost a week since I've written anything. I tried to post sooner than this, really, I did. I don't know what's going on in the Internet world right now, but sites are down all over. Bravenet, my counter service, got hacked. I couldn't access freeservers from 8 p.m. last night until about 9 a.m. this morning. Then I couldn't log onto Blogger. My archives are all screwed up and I want to get that fixed. AAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!! I don't know if some virus is going around or if there are just way too many people with nothing better to do than screw with the rest of us. Words to those of you: KNOCK IT OFF!!
Not that there has been anything exciting going on. My tonsil is infected. I've been sleeping alot. When I am awake I'm either working or lethargic as hell. I've also been lethargic at work, so that's taking way longer every day than it should. This cold weather we've been stuck in has not helped, either. I absolutely hate being cold. I've even got the space heater plugged in today, aimed at my feet. It's helping a little. Marcus' parents are coming in two weeks and I've got absolutely no motivation to get the house ready for the visit. I've been fighting the urge all morning to crawl back into bed.
We had quite a snowstorm last Friday. The head manager at one of the stores totally lost it and drove off some more customers, I'm sure. They were finally busy, but could he call in extra help or anything? NO! Pizzas were going out the door that had been ordered 2 hours earlier. He was totally rude to people on the phone. He yelled at me when I tried to help him out by putting some callers on hold (BIG MISTAKE on his part). He told me that he didn't care what kind of service these idiots got. If they couldn't order on a regular day, he'd be damned if he'd be nice to them when the weather was bad. What a jerk! He finally took the phones off the hook and refused to answer them. Loser. Oh, well. My horoscope says things are supposed to be getting better. I sure hope so.
