A blonde woman goes into a department store and tells the salesman she wants a pair of pink curtains. He assures her they have a good selection of pink curtains. He shows her many kinds and different fabrics of curtains. She finally picks out a pink floral pattern.
The salesman asks, "What size do you need?"
She says, "17 inches."
He exclaims, "17 INCHES? What room are they for?"
She says, "It's not for a room, it's for my computer monitor."
The surprised salesman exclaims, "Miss, computers do not need curtains."
The blond says, "Helllllooooooo... I've got Windows!!"

Well, another successful Thanksgiving Day has passed. The turkey wasn't my best. My meat thermometer must be broken. I roasted the thing for over six hours and it never reached the proper temperature and the pop-up timer didn't pop, but it was definitely done. Oh, well. Mike, Nina and Sarah joined the usual trio of Marcus, Dad and myself. We also watched
Elf. Good times.
Hope everyone had a good holiday.
I'm tired and going to bed.

OK, I'm better now that that stupid spam is gone for now.
So, since I'm pretty sure I won't be pursuing a bachelor degree unless someone close to me wins Powerball or Lotto, I'm having a really hard time giving a damn about the class I'm taking now. It's a gen ed class and doesn't have a thing to do with what I want to do for a living. Especially since it's the night before Thanksgiving, I've got cooking, baking and cleaning to do and I haven't finished the homework yet again. (That should be a good sign that I need to quit, eh?) If I didn't still have a class to take for my Associate degree, I would've withdrawn last week. Right now, I'm just wasting money. *sigh* I know a bunch of people in class probably won't be there. I wouldn't if I hadn't already missed two classes. Hopefully we'll just watch a movie or something.
Anyway, I'm preparing the brine that I'm going to soak the turkey in. I hope this doesn't ruin it. I meant to try brining sometime mid-year to test it, but alas, we all know what a sucky year I've had.
The good news if that I got two days' worth of dough done this morning, so I don't have to work tomorrow. Bad news is I didn't have time for a nap and I'm really tired. Another reason that class is going to suck major @ss.
Oh, well, enough procrastinating. I've got to get some of my homework done before class.

I am so freakin' sick of being spammed on my blog. This weekend, if I get nothing else done, I am going to get my expression engine site working. I despammed this morning and I've recently got like 75 more! It's sad when your blacklist doesn't even begin to stop the tide.
