Domestic Geek

Man, I've got to go to the store and get myself some lunch (we have no food in this house) and a couple of other things, but I don't want to go out. It's hot out and I just want to sit around and be lazy all day and soak my feet in ice water.

I'm reading the first 6 Harry Potter books in anticipation of the arrival of book 7. That reminds me: Note to self - make 10 day countdown HP graphics like you had last year.

I need more money coming in. Anybody reading this willing to pay to have graphics designed for your web site or any graphic design work done? I guess I'm going to have to start using that skill because I really don't want to have to work pizza or retail (mostly because I don't want to deal with people that won't speak English). It's hard enough dealing with customers that do speak Englsih, y'know?

OK, must get moving.

I wish I had the money...I would've been in line at The Apple Store today to get an iPhone. More importantly, I wanted the shirt. Oh, well. It was not to be. All the hype and coverage today is just rubbing it in that I will not possess one quite yet. That's OK, I will.

I like how the thing automatically switches to WiFi networks (like when you're in a Starbucks). I think Marcus wants to head to the Apple Store when he gets home from work. I can't wait to play with one.

Have I mentioned on here that I jacked up my legs stepping off a ladder wrong at work? Yeah, that's me...Miss Clutz. They were starting to feel better until the day before yesterday. I was walking and all of a sudden my left foot made a huge "pop" so loud Marcus heard it. *sigh* It hasn't wanted to pop back. I keep plunging my feet into ice baths, but the relief is over the minute my feet come out of the water. I'll do my best to stay off of them this weekend and hopefully that will help.

Can you believe how fast this year is flying by? Independence Day is a week away, people!

Sorry, the craft blog is not playing nice and that is why there has been no link yet. If it wasn't for the fact I really want to learn this beast called Wordpress, I'd just chuck it and do it with Expression Engine. If I don't get it up this weekend, I'll be doing just that.
