Netflix SNAFU

I was expecting a movie that I wanted to see again called What the #$*! Do We Know!? to be in in my mailbox from Netflix for viewing this weekend. I had an email in my inbox when I got home yesterday that said they had received it back and was sending out the next one in my queue to arrive Saturday. WTF? How the heck did that happen? I'm guessing it got delivered to the wrong person and they sent it back. Anyway, not cool. So, instead of thought-provoking quantum physics type of entertainment, I guess I'll be watching Happy Feet instead. Yeah, I'm a little bummed about that. Oh, well.

Little Miss Sunshine Blew

I just got finished watching Little Miss Sunshine. I feel like I missed something. I read all these reviews talking about how good a movie it was and was really looking forward to seeing it. I somehow feel cheated. The whole thing just left me feeling sad.

Maybe it's because when I watch a movie that's supposed to be a comedy, I want to laugh and feel good. This movie just mirrored how sad and pathetic most dysfunctional families are. There really was no happy ending.

EDIT: OK, Marcus informed me that it was not supposed to be a comedy. My mistake. It's still classified as comedy over at IMDb, but there was definitely nothing comical about that.

Saturday Stuff

I was a little bummed about not being able to watch The Office on Thursday. Since NBC did one of those evenings where every show got more than a ½ hour, I only got about 20 minutes of a 45 minute show recorded. I tried to torrent it yesterday, but no luck. Marcus purchased it on iTunes this morning so we could finally get to watch it. It was soooooo funny! I loved the Lazy Scranton bit (you'd have to see it...I'm not explaining it!).

We watched Cars last night. What a great movie! I'll definitely have to get that one. I pulled out the hide-a-bed and we snuggled while watching on the big TV. It was like going to the Drive-in in the comfort of our own living room! Speaking of the drive-in, I loved the ending when the cars are watching the other Pixar movies. Too funny!

OK, enough of sitting in front of this computer.

200 Cigarettes

So, I'm sorting through some more vhs tapes and I came across a movie that I had totally forgotten about: 200 Cigarettes. It's one of those movies that was funny in a stupid way.
