I had the absolute freakiest dream last night. Marcus and I were walking down a street when we came upon a large park. It looked like an outdoor wedding was taking place. As we came upon the lattice arch, I saw that a large black hearse had crashed into it and had crushed the bride, groom and minister. As we continued on, it looked like a funeral procession had made a wrong turn, drove through the ceremony and killed everyone in attendance. Crashed cars were scattered everywhere and everyone there was dead. The weird thing was I was more worried about having left our bunnies outside in the yard (which I never do, anyway) than I was about the horrific scene I had come upon. I woke up about 1:30 am after this dream and was so weirded out, it took awhile to go back to sleep. I'd sure like to know what's going on in my subconscious that caused a dream like that.

I'm really tired, but I can't sleep. I've got a lot on my mind, plus Marcus isn't home, plus I've had reaaaaalllly bad cramps this week, plus I'm not feeling too well at the moment (I hope I'm not getting sick--like West Nile virus or something). I tried to get somebody to work for me tonight, but nobody was availble. Wah, wine, bitch, moan. I'm really tempted to do my schoolwork from home tomorrow. C'mon, get your ass to bed and get some rest.

My friend Nina and I went to lunch at Beau Jo's today. We had intended on going last Monday, but Mike's Jeep broke down in the mountains and they had to go rescue it. By the time they got back, I was over on the west side of town. I was afraid we'd have to cancel today, also. She's been really sick all weekend, but she still wanted to go. We had some of those stuffed mushrooms that they have. Man, they are soooo good. I wish I could figure out how to make those at home. I've come close a couple of times, but they're not quite there. If anybody has ever worked there and knows the recipe, please let me know! I'll never tell, I swear. I also had a calzone. Never had one before. It wasn't too bad. A little bit too much ricotta cheese in it for my liking, but I'll smother the half I couldn't finish in some more cheese (mozzerella or cheddar) and it'll be good to go.
Word of warning: Never open a potentially breakable item you purchased on eBay over a full garbage can. I bought this cute little resin angel for my sewing room. Unfortunately, the seller didn't pack it well and the angel's little halo cracked into about 3-4 different pieces. I tried digging throught the trash for the missing piece(s), but it was near impossible amongst the sunflower seed shells and dead rice. I glued on the pieces I had and, fortunately, the missing piece(s) are on the back of the head and I can probably make something out of clay to replace it, but dang that's depressing. Good thing I only spent $1.99 for it.
Hey, go wish
Janelle a happy birthday!
OK, I've got something to work on for school. I'd better get to it.

Man, it seems like I just got up and it's almost time to go to bed. I spent the majority of this day at work. I arrived about 11 a.m. and got off at 9:30 p.m. The only good thing about that is the prep/dough is all caught up. Yay!!! I've been waaaay behind all week due to a major miscalculation I made last Sunday. The bad thing is I thought I was scheduled to get off at 8 (obviously I wasn't -- I really need to read the schedule more carefully) and the poor dog was home all alone with nobody around to let him out to pee (he was good, he held it all day!). I also forgot to take my cell phone with me. While I don't talk on it much, I do use it as a calculator and a watch at work. Man, was I lost without it.
When I was coming home from work, traffic was all backed up weird on I-70 around the Denver Colliseum. Even when we got past the blockage, people were still driving about 50 mph. It was bizzarre. I did see one dude behind me zig-zagging in and out of traffic, so I moved to the far right lane. I noticed a motorcycle was following this guy pretty close. The fucktard buzzed my bumper as he passed me. I was never so happy to notice that the motorcycle behind him was none other than one of Denver's finest. Serves the dude right. I hope he got a ticket for multiple violations. It's bad enough that you're recklessly weaving in and out of traffic and speeding, but when you notice someone on your tail, don't buzz someone. Loser.
So, I'm all by myself this evening. Marcus and Mike left this morning and are spending the night in Winter Park. I trust their mountain biking trip went well as I did not have any messages from them on my cell when I got home. The last two outings of theirs didn't fare too well.
What is up with these little itty bitty spiders walking all over my monitor? I've squished three of them just since I started this post and a couple of them last night. What's creepy is I can't figure out where they are coming from.
I'm having some terrible short-term memory problems lately. A girl at work suggested I start taking vitamin E and magnesium along with Ginko. If anybody else has any other thoughts, I'm all ears. It's getting really annoying. It's one of the reasons I never seem to get anything done lately. I start something and then kind of wander off and can't seem to remember what I was originally doing.
OK, well, I'm going to go scrounge up a little grub since I haven't had anything to eat since I ate lunch at 11 am. I've got "
One Hour Photo" to watch, so I might do that in bed. All alone. All by myself.

frustrated
Sorry I haven't been around much. School is keeping me very busy. So busy that I've fallen behind at work. I really should be there now to try and catch up, but I got into it with a couple of people yesterday (drivers harassing me about stuff that was really none of their business) and now I really don't want to be there. We've been visiting various print shops around town and yesterday I went to one that does professional embroidery. I want more than anything to get into machine embroidery now. The great thing is that a lot of things I have learned or will learn at school can really help me in such an endeavor!! The only thing holding me back is time and money. I'll be doing some major eBay
selling very soon.
Today we went to Fineline, the shop that prints those decals that go on
the tails on Frontier Airlines planes. They make those decals that wrap around busses, racing car logos, etc. They also print all those
HUGE banners that hang on the side of Invesco field. That place was pretty neat.
Well, I had really better get going. I soooooo don't want to do this today.
