exhausted
This insomnia is really starting to get to me. Add a sinus headache to it that just wouldn't go away and I didn't accomplish squat today. OK, that's not entirely true. I went to several print shops today to get bids for the client. With the prices that you can get for stuff on the Internet, I don't see how these smaller local shops can stay in business. The total cost for 2000 postcards on the net is about $375 and local shops charge from $850-$1000+. The quality of the cards on the net appears to be better, also. How stupid is that? The shipping is another $20 or so. I know it is my client's fault that the cards aren't ready, but why should he have to pay that much more than he needs? So, I went back to school and talked to the teacher. She's willing to extend my deadline as long as the online printer provides a hard copy proof that I can turn in on the due date. Sweet! I will be soooo glad when this module is over. I've never been so apathetic about a class as I have about this one. A couple of days ago, I didn't even care if I failed. Oh, well. It'll all be over by Thanksgiving.
OK, I've got to try and get some sleep. Wish me luck.

Man, I'm glad this day is almost over. I really hate wasted days like this. I didn't accomplish squat.
The first major winter storm here in the Denver area has occurred and it was all freezing drizzle. It took me a half hour to scrape the 1/8" ice off my windows. Of course, it doesn't help that I broke my scraper in the process. Then it took me almost 90 minutes to get to work because of the totally jacked up traffic. This storm started yesterday, so you'd think that the overpasses and stuff would be well-sanded in time for rush hour. HA! Rush hour tonight was a nightmare. Then it's Halloween and I had to deliver pizza. Could any of these people that ordered bother to de-ice their front porches? No. It's bad enough that I almost killed myself more than once, but what about the poor trick-or-treaters encumbered by costumes and candy? The only good thing about the evening is that it was the first Halloween that I've driven that losers didn't give me candy instead of a tip. Sadly, though, the tips I did get were not what I'd usually get on a holiday or a poor weather night. Oh, well.
Since I got to work late, I didn't get all the dough made that I needed. I think the manager made some condescending remark about it as I was leaving tonight. Creep. So, I'd better get to bed so I can get up early and get the dough made before he gets there in the morning. I'm really starting to hate that guy.

Today is Marcus' and my 11th Anniversary of when we "officially" started seeing each other. Wow. Sometimes it's hard to believe it's been that long.

I've been a little down lately. While we were in Vegas, the dry air made all my wrinkles really stand out. For the first time, I really noticed that I was starting to look old. Then, last Friday while listening to the Rush Limbaugh Show, I found out that I'm older than
Matt Drudge. That just can't be! *sigh*

scared
My house is overrun with wasps. Marcus killed one when he got home from work that was up in our skylight. Now there are two more in the window. One is probably the b*tch that stung me earlier (I read online that wasps don't die after stinging like bees do--pity). I have a terrible feeling that they're coming in through the swamp cooler. I hope they didn't nest up there. Anyway, Marcus found some old wasp killer out in the shed and is about to try to kill them.
Update: Yay, the wasps are dead!!!
