Dumb Blonde Joke

Compliments of my friend, Traci:
A blonde walks into the local auto parts store.

"I need a seven ten cap," she says.

"What's a seven ten cap?" replies the clerk

She says, "You know, it's right on the engine. Mine got lost somehow and I need a new one."

"What kind of a car is it?" the clerk asks, now thinking it's maybe for an old Datsun Seven Ten.

"It's a Ford," says the blonde.

So now the clerk is really confused.

"Okay, lady, how big is it?" She makes a circle with her hands about 3 1/2 inches in diameter.

"What does it do?" the clerk asks.

"I don't know," says the blonde, "but it's always been there, and now I've lost it and I need a new one."

Finally the clerk gives her a piece of paper and a pencil and asks her if she can draw a picture of it.

School Dorks

Why do I bother losing sleep and not getting dough done at work to get my projects done on time and then come to school only for the deadline to be extended because the losers and morons in my class can't seem to get their stuff done? Roughs were supposed to be ready for critique by 10 a.m. today. At 9, I was totally done. Half the class forgot they were due today and now they're due at 10:30, which will probably get pushed back to 11. ARGH! So, here I sit dinking around on the super-slow computer in the library with nothing to do for an hour or better. The joy.

Still Here

I'm still alive. I'll have time to do a post tomorrow since I have no work and no school. I actually get to stay home a whole day! Yay!!!

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for the kind words and support during the last week. Ursa was more than a dog. She was a best friend, confidante, teddy bear, security blanket, and more than anything, she was family. Even though cancer was wasting away her body and her liver was failing, she never complained. Even though she was miserable, she could still manage a tail wag and a kiss. The decision to have her put to sleep was heartbreaking for us, but it was the only fair thing to do for a dog that had given us so much. I don't think that even now it has sunk in that she is gone. She spent 9 of her 12 years with us. I sure hope she's in a better place. I'm picturing her running through a field chasing bunnies. I'm going to miss her so dang much.

BTW, Marcus made a cool tribute picture for Ursa on his site. Check it out here.
